Salazam had a sword,
A cutting sword,
A quick sword,
That slashed the universe,
Separating day from night
In the blink of an eye.
Salazam had a shield,
A large shield,
A solid shield,
That parried showers of meteors,
Deflecting them
Toward the faceless void.
Stars shone.
Worlds burst into life.
Gulfs of light.
Oceans of darkness.
Explosive heat.
Solitude.
Salazam made himself small,
An atom of condensed eternity
That was, is, will, and could have been —
His mystery, an armor,
A strong armor,
An impenetrable armor.
