The British School of Formia invites you to the
presentation of
The Democratization of Hit Men
a thesis on the history and sociological impact of
professional murder on our society.
Forbus’s work has
significantly helped us to realise that the hired gun is not just a person who
entertains us on the page or on the cinema screen, but rather is simultaneously
a real person, a set of activities, and a complex assembly of social relations,
all intimately bound up with wider social, political and economic dynamics.
