Many years from now
I will whisper your name
as I did in those days
when hopes were young
and dreams ripe.
In those days filled with music
and the colors of spring.
Those days,
when you hid like a flower
escaping winter.
And when the snow melted,
I searched for you
in the shiny sea of grass,
and savored your name on my lips.
Year of the unknown tomorrow
setting in a black sun,
remind me of those days,
of the million steps I made,
the bliss of that long-lost kiss.

I like the imagery in this stanza.
The beginning is always beautiful, the ending is what we shape, that is if one is lucky enough to have the chance.
Very true, my dear anonymous reader. May your steps take you far, where few dare to go...
